Anthony “Tony” Ko
Investigator - Lien Sale/Body Shop Fraud Specialist
Tony joined Locator Investigations in 2017 after a 30+ year career in the vehicle finance industry. This included 25 years as a Supervisor in the Fraud Control Unit for Toyota Financial Services as well as experience with other lenders in their Credit Collections, Skip Tracing and Fraud Control Units. Tony has extensive experience in body shop fraud investigation and fraudulent tow yard lien sale events.
In 2003, Tony was the founding member of the Auto Finance Fraud Investigators Association which is now affiliated with the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators and he remains an Active member of the Western States Auto Theft Investigators Assn and International Assn of Auto Theft Investigators.
Oscar Alva
Investigator – Latin America Specialist
Oscar joined Locator Technologies after a 27 year career in California law enforcement, 11 years of which was specializing in vehicle theft investigations. Prior to that assignment Oscar worked as a Mexico Liaison Investigator, coordinating with Mexico and U.S. law enforcement for the prosecution of cross border crime activity and intelligence information exchange. Oscar has conducted several investigations for finance industry clients of Locator Technologies, resulting in the recovery of numerous vehicles from Mexico.
